I WENT TO MY DENTIST AND HE GAVE BE AUGMENTIN FOR THE PAIN. HE
TOLD ME IT WOULD HELP. I TOOK TWO TABLETS AND NO RELIEF.
Pain in the upper molars can "sometimes" be a sinus infection. Perhaps that is what he or she is suspecting? Is it on one or both sides? If it is on both, I would tend to think that a sinus infection is a possibility. I know that I have pain in my upper teeth on one side that ISN'T dental related. I have a tooth pulled and replaced with an implant. It still hurts and this was years ago (after cyberknife and MVD). Also, I would not expect that IF this is an infection..that you would start to feel better after only 2 tablets.
