I started Oxtellar a few weeks ago. I just upped my dose to 1800mg at night before bedtime. The side effects are horrible. I am dizzy, blurred vision, headaches and I am so tired. Does anyone know how long it takes to get use to this medication? I don’t know if I can do this. I am trying to work and I am miserable. All I want to do is stay in bed. I was on Tegretol before for years but just was not working. This is why I didn’t want to switch medication due to having to get use to a new medication. I also take Lyrica and Elavil. If anyone knows how long, I would greatly appreciate your input. I am trying to decide if I need to lower my dose to 1200 mg per day.
