My pain has been shocking me for the last 30 mins straight, I don't know what to do..... eating is out of the question drinking also, I'm taking 2,700mg of gabapentin and percocet, I don't know if it's because my allergies but I just can't handle this I just want to crawl into a dark hole, I feel like I'm a zombie :(
I am so sorry! Allergies make things worse:( just know you are not alone…
thank you jab it's way to hard right now! it's burning at this point....ugh
I'm so sorry ---- Do you need to go to ER and get something different than Percocet???
Aww, that sounds horrible.
Hope it feels better soon.
Hugs
Trish
if you have tn try tegratol and lyrica. the lyrica is for the outside surface of the pain. the percocet isnt going to do any good because it is a nerve pain. hope u feel better
Hi Sweetie, if this continues go to the ER or call your doctor. Unfortunately this happens with TN for some reason Spring and Fall is the time for this to act up. They dont know why but studies show these two seasons the monster really likes to show itself more than other times of the year. bizarre. Feel bad sweetie, go to ER

I am so sorry that you are in this much pain. I hope that you can find some relief in the VERY near future.
I will keep you in my thoughts.

I have just been through weeks of how you feel. My heart goes out to you. Brings me to tears. have you been to see your surgeon or anyone. Be demanding, tell them you need help. I got to the point where I fainted. I was dehydrated and my blood pressure hit the ground. Don't let that happen. Sorry but honestly I'm telling you demand help. Do you have family or friends as support at all? Again honestly because I was just there my heart is crying for you. Please let us know how you are doing, keep posting, you know we understand you and how you are feeling. Big hugs for you.
Linda
the pain finally went away with a hearing pad, thank you to everyone, Yes i do have support but no one understands What it's like unless you have it. the percocet seems to take the edge off sometimes....i've heard if tegratol but haven't tried it yet the next time it happens i will be sitting in the er if my doctors is not open...but thank you everyone it means a lot
May you be pain free

Hi Janice, happy to hear you are better. Are you on any meds for TN? They do help for alot of people, this is something you should definetly talk to your doctor about. Sorry I see youmare on something they sometimes use combo of meds. Its worth trying. If it ever gets that bad again go right to the ER and tell them your in a pain crisis with TN and sure they will help you. You have to say “Pain Crisis” there is something here online that guides you thru this its on the top right hand side under Face Pain Info click on drop down list, will show info on Pain Crisis. Hope this helps

I am sorry I know how hopeless you can feel when its happening. weather affects mine so I would believe allergies join in as well. Feel better.
thank you tatto20, and tnjourney tn always seem to act up during November and some of the spring months...i do have allergies really bad..gabbapentin has always seemed to work....and as far as the tegarol, i have always had a fatty liver...I've had tn next November will be 4 or 5years since my diagnosis my family doctor is the one who diagnosed me...

I'm so sorry, Janice. Eating always makes it terrible for me, too.
Percocet, when I am able to take it, always leaves me feeling like a zombie. I can't stand it. Honestly, it doesn't even help the pain when I do take it.
I have been using this cream on my face- (I ordered it off of Amazon and don't know if it would help you...) --
It helps me SOME.
((hugs))
Just started trying to find out exactly what the source of my pain is-- but I am thinking about you.
I messed up and ate out tonight- paying for it big time. I KNEW BETTER- even at this point in the game.
xx Beekeeper
Have the fatty liver- or NASH- myself, too. That makes it hard w/ all the meds....... xx

I’m on 3000mg of gabapentin a day and my neuro says if I have an attack take extra gabapentin immediately. He said don’t take more than 900mgs at a time though as your body can’t use any more than that at one time. Sometimes I can either stop or significantly dull an attack if I take it immediately. Of course, it makes me a big of a zombie too. It’s a trade off I’m willing to take. My neuro said they give epilepsy patients 4-5000mg a day so it’s safe. Maybe you should talk to your doc about this for future attacks? I hope this has been helpful. I hope you are having less pain!
I also get bad at these two seasons but thought it was just me. Never realised others felt the same way. I live in England and thought it was due to windy weather at these times.

I never thought of the seasonal thing. I tried to take a walk with my dad lay night and a cold front came through. Omg the freezing cold wind gusting on my face nearly killed me. I was committed though! It wasn’t so bad once the wind was at our backs. I stayed in all day today because I could see everything blowing around. Not worth it. I will pay attention to the seasons from now on!
thank you hcal beekeeper and clare, while mine mainly acts up the most during November and spring i do have a few out breaks throughout the year...i always make sure i have my gabbapntin on hand when i notice it going away i ween myself offoff slowly...it's so crazy because when it's good it's great, i try to live as if i never had it but deep down i know that it's waiting to show its ugly face at any time, and i feel So bad for kids because i know it hurts them to see mom in so much pain/cryingcrying...any how Good day everyone
May you be pain free
