Neuro

Hi guys,on my last visit to my GP cos Tegretol not very effective he gave me Naproxen to work along side, since then i’ve been more or less pain free.He also got me an appointment with a neurologist on April 27th.Trouble is now i feel like a bit of a faker cos my pain is under control at the minute!! although im due to phase out the meds at the begining of May,so im not sure whats gonna happen when i stop taking them.I feel really bad when i hear all the horror stories of you poor guys who’ve put up with your pain for so long, kind regards Lisa xxx

You misunderstand me Ro! i have every intention of seeing the neuro,i just feel a bit bad bout it as im not in pain at the minute, and because i’ve not had to wait as long as others.
And i feel if i had to suffer this horrible thing for years it would definately be my own personal horror story

Hi Lisa,
Please don’t feel like a “faker”

TN can go into remission at any time. Some people get very good pain control with medication. Your Neuro will be all too aware of this. May I ask where your appointment is? As we live quiet close to each other I just wondered if you were seeing the same Neuro as me.

Hope that your appointment goes well.

Love Jo X x

Hi Jo,i had to phone and make my appointment, its on Tuesday 27th Aptil at 16.00 hrs,at the Luton & Dunstable hospital.I have to wait for written conformation before i know who im seeing, will let you know.im so glad the gp gave me the Nnaproxen,i was getting so many attacks without it,& i am in crown court for 4-5 days between 6-17th April,a guy ran me over while i was working, then told lots of lies,so i REALLY need to be able to talk without being in pain.will let you know the neuro’s name as soon as i get the letter, kind regards Lisa xxx
