My neurologist, Amelia Barrett, recommended Dr. J. Adair Prall when my MRI showed a loop. She said Dr. Prall is THE specialist in the Denver area. Dr. Prall and his PAs and scheduling nurse have spent hours answering my questions. He performs all three procedures - gamma knife, MVD and last case, Rhizotomy. He has been treating this disease for years and I have all the faith in him. I just had my MVD on 11/28 and because he found FOUR veins compressing my nerve he managed to cut and cauterize them. I'm exciting because I think this gives me the greatest chance of longtime success for both my typical and atypical symptoms although with all that movement on the nerve I will have a fair amount of numbness and tingling for some time. I'm grateful we have someone with this expertise nearby.
