Okay, so after last weeks major episode. Doctor prescribed gaberpentine 200 mg 3x a day an increased my carbamazepine to 2 200 mg 2x a day. Problem is how do any of you with same dosages perform at work? I feel crazy drunk in am after taking 400 mg of the carbamazepine and then throw in a gaberpentine and my mornings are spent in a haze. A pain-free haze for now but a haze. Dr has not recommended a Neuro yet. I desperately want the mvd as I cannot live in this haze as well as the constant fear of a recurrence. Suggestions on handling meds please??
I hate all these meds we take…the side effects for me are life changing. I hardly get out of bed anymore because I always feel so tired & loopy. I have to go back to work eventually but have no clue how I will function.

I got my dr. to write prescription for low dose Ritalin, extended release.... after
I lost my job because I was too loopy to work properly.
That's when I got Ritalin to help me research for my MVD.
And, lidocaine helped me lower meds.
