doctor put me on a toxic level of meds, i almost died, he kept pushing meds even though i told him i was so sick i was dizzy all the time, kept tellimg me i would get use to it i could just slap him
Did you end up in the hospital because of the medication overdose or did they od you while you we’re in the hospital? I find every time I’m admitted I have to take control of my own care and tell the nurses and doctors exactly what I need them to do. It’s ridiculous.
Glad you are ok now! I hope you get things worked out so that you aren't on more medicine than you can handle.

Hi Sluggo,
Glad you are okay. What med were you on. Some meds such as tegretol need to have blood checked for certain adverse effects it can cause. Were you being monitored by your doctor on your meds? I think that we have to be even more assertive when it comes to our own bodies. We only know how we feel. I am fortunate that I have a great rapport with my GP. He really listens to me. He is learning along with me about TN to this day. Hopefully he has learned from this and you are ok. sorry you had to go thru this.

I overdosed from his meds, he increased the gabapentin to 900 and the baclofien to 60 on top of my 1600 carbamazipine. I was distinctly told this is what happened, i had to detox and lay there with a crash cart in my room with a heart rate of 30 my primary saved my life and is sending me to a specialist. She has my on pain pills and still on carbamazipine and meclize for nausea, I am so much better for once i am not stumbling all over from dizzyness and unable to fucnktion i am just not sure if i can do anthing about this legal wise he almost killed me and made me suffer like i never have

i saw him twice in one year, if i wanted to talk to him i had to explain everythong to his receptionist then she decided if i got to talk to the nurse which would be a couple of days then i would have to wait more until she talked to him, i kept telling him how dizzy i was and he would say its either the pain or the side effects. He kept saying i would get use to it I've been so sick for so long i wanted to die literally you know the agaony I am talking about
