Is your TN on the right, or left, or bi?

Mines on both sides, more on the right. It is from my upper teeth (4 front on the right side) to about the middle of the top of my head. I will get the crawling feeling , once and a while.
I also get swelling below my eyes(sinus area) if i try to talk loud or yell and if I breathe in Certin chemicals , along with that area turning black.
It feels as though someone has a fishing hook attached to the nerve in behind my nose and is rapidly pulling it.
I will also have problems keeping my right eye open.

Spyder,
I also get that feeilng behind my nose…it feels like someone literally punched me and broke my nose, but the pain is internal not exteral. That was actually one of my first symptoms was my nose hurting.

Mine is internal also, That is the only way i know how to discribe it. It’s a terrible feeling! I never thought something could feel that way. :frowning: . That is the way i have been explaining it to the doctors, lol.

mine is on both sides, mainly on my left side. Upper left teeth, my nose and forehead go numb alot. Can’t talk alot or chew alot that makes my eyes twitch. Sometime I have pain in my right upper teeth. Sometimes my two front teeth get really sensitive and hurt!!

Mine is on the right. It started in the 2nd branch, thought I had a toothache. After FOUR(!) unnecessary root canals, I diagnosed myself. The oral surgeon said, “Um, yeah… that could be the problem”. Really? You knew about TN and never mentioned it? Maybe he has a boat he’s trying to pay off.
It has gotten progressively worse, now I have eye pain, jabs of pain in my eyebrow area, pain deep in the ear along with hearing loss that comes and goes. My lower jaw gets this creepy-crawley feeling, not really pain… just weird and “buzzy” I’m having MVD surgery on Wednesday (16th), so I am hoping this will be gone (or at least better) soon!

Mine is on the right, mostly my bottom teeth and along lower jaw and into my right ear. My two front top teeth also feel very sensitive (unless I am sleeping) and jab at me when I eat. I also get a tingling in the top and bottom right side of my lips which effects my speach and some times that side of my mouth goes completely numb. Unfortunately I do have days when the left upper and lower portions also ache and throb but maybe that is in my head…(no pun intended.)

Mine is one both sides of my face, and in all three branches of the nerve. It used to be just on the right around the forehead but then over a couple of months it spread to the whole of my face. I get the pain mainly when I feel a little warm so im in pain for most of the day.

keep us posted on your surgery. Best of luck!
