I don't know if my meds are working. I started trileptal 1 1/2 weeks ago, slowing building up the dosage. I had one day about a weekago pain free, but the pain has continued to build the the levels of pain I experienced before diagnosis. What I don't know is what to expect. Should the meds make it all go away, or will I still feel the pain i a duller sense? Does it take awhile to build up in your system or should I call my doctor and tell him it's not working?
It took a month on trileptal to start feeling the effects, and for me the pain lessened but did not go away. I hope you find relief soon.
