Hold back the Tegretol dizzies for awhile?

Hi everyone,

I'm up to 1200mg of Tegretol and it's helping the pain - though some lingers. But, the side effect that has also decided to linger is the dizziness and blurred vision! Fun! Yay! Party!

Not really, since I have two more weeks of grad school to get through and all the projects to finish. It's hard when my head is swimming on and off.

Does anyone have any remedies that have worked for them to stave off the dizziness, if only for an hour or two?

Call and ask pharmacist what to ask the doctor for. They know the drugs the BEST!

Ask for some medical accomodations - extra time -- my TN did not start till after grad school - can't imagine!!!

Or maybe lowered dose for a couple of weeks through finals?
