Hemifacial Tongue Spasms

Last night had my first horrible tongue spasms. Spasms were non-spot for 35 minutes. Also included my jaw. Bit the heck out of my tongue and chipped a tooth. Over the following 4 hours I kept getting little spasms, lasting 3-5 seconds.

Has anyone else had this happen? How did you get it to stop?

I am schedule for my MVD on December 4th.

I do get pain in my tongue but I wouldn't call it a spasm more like stabbing. Maybe you could speak to your neurologist/Surgeon about it before you have your MVD. Best of luck with that by the way. Keep us posted on how it goes.
