Hey!
I am working on heading down to a new hospital and to see a new neuro team for a 2nd option. I had MVD in 2012 but found out that I had no compression, but was able to live pain free for a year and my TN came back last year. Anyhow, I had a mini phone consult today and the NP mentioned going back to the basics and confirming that I have TN and just threw out that things like SUNCT Syndrome, a migraine condition with very similar symptoms.
Has anyone heard of it?

I’m sorry to hear your pain returned…I remember following your MVD journey. Many people with TN have no compressions…many people with compressions have no TN.
It’s such a strange path we walk… I hope your consult/2nd opinion brings you new direction/suggestions for quality of life ( no pain!!)
