My grandson suffers with headaches that may be migraine headaches???? He sees a doctor in Dallas on Monday. My son and the mother are divorced. He is 17. I reminded the mother to tell the Dr. that I suffered fromTN. and I didn't know if he could be suffering from this also and the Dr here has not recognized it. I pray he can get some relief and that he doesn't have TN. Does anyone know if there is a connection between the two .
I don't know if there is a connection, but I hope the appointment goes well! The only connection I can think of is if he had TN with only that top region being affected, but I understand that is pretty rare. I hope the doctor is able to help him out. So sad to see kids suffering!
There is a connection in my case. I have been diagnosed with ATN and chronic migraine. Basically I have a burning headache over my left eyebrow and over the bridge of my nose. My road has been a long one (3 years so far). The crazy thing is that I never had a migraine before the ATN hit. I have survived a MVD, dozens of drugs, many different blocks, etc. Three weeks ago I tried Botox. I actually think it may be helping. I have been having more "good" days than ever before. The doctor wanted to try to hit the migraine portion of my headache in hopes it will help me overall. That being said, I am sitting here typing with an ice bag strapped to my head. Not a good day today. I sure hope your grandson gets the help he needs. It sounds like he has the most important thing ever, a good support system. God bless.
I had terrible headaches in the begin of all this they lasted all day long and nothing would stop the pain I was forced to quit my job I suffered for months and months. I don't know if this stuff is genetically related ironicly enough my brother just started getting seizures. Very strange we are both having nerve problems in the head. Anyways I hope he can get some answers I take 75mg of nortriptyline a day which has helped a lot.
Thanks to all of you and your replies. My daughter is suffering from headaches and I am praying NO TN
