Gone Phishing

There's no offense involved, Kacee. (and Cora). TN patients are often desperate for any hope of solution. One of the jobs of the site moderators and of patients who have done focused research is to lend perspective to that desperation.

Sometimes we have to say "wups... I'm afraid assertion so-and-so isn't well supported in science and the medical literature." And if somebody seems to be headed in a direction that has had poor outcomes for other people in the past, we have to say so. In this case, the folks that shine laser light on your face can claim a number of patient testimonials of positive outcomes. But they have also engaged in marketing practices that in my view amount to misrepresentation and aggressive spamming. More important they don't offer even a scrap of hard medical evidence from randomized trials, that what they're doing works better than placebo effect.

Regards and best,
