I’ve been thinking about printing off info on Trigeminal and occipital neuralgia for my church friends. When they are around me they are concerned about me but they just have no clue and do not understand what is going on. One man asked if I was having anxiety problems… he didn’t understand what kind of nerves. Sometimes I think they look at me like I’m crazy because they don’t understand. What is the best way to handle this situation, is it a good idea to give them printed information so they can read and understand?
I think it is a good idea! Or just do a mass email with a link to an informative site... people have no idea what this is!!
Besides--who knows who may hear the info and share it with someone else looking for a diagnosis?? My guess is a lot more people have this than is reported--since people can have years of short episodes and then long remissions--

Print off a couple of those plus PRINT the TN EMERGENCY CARD to carry with you. You can find that in the resources tab. that gives them the basics.
Very rare disease, no cure, in and out of remission. I sometimes tell people, that this is one of THE most painful diseases to mankind.
To closer to family and friends info, put in the search box …SPOON THEORY. Hope this helps!
