Hi guys! I've had sooo many of my worries put to bed by other ATN sufferers here that I thoughtI'd push my luck and try for another one.
I found out that I'm not the only one who has the deep numbness, or the dizziness, or the headaches that only last for sometimes minutes but does anyone else have a weird fuzzy head?? The closest I can come to describing it is to say it feels like when you have a head cold and your ears block up and you feel like your head is full of water. That's me but without the cold!!
At first it was there in the morning but would be gone by lunch but it's dinner time now and it's hanging around! The whole right side ( my bad side) is numb around to the back of my head. It feels revolting!!!!!
Anybody else? Please? I don't want to be the freak.
I have exact same thing that you are describing....I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia in May. I am on tegratol and gabapentin, I had MRI recently and found out I have MS . I get the same thing you get, I was also describing it as head cold type thing without the cold. Mine also started in morning and faded away. But I have it all the time now. I also don't know what it is. Just wanted to let you know your not a freak.
Hi Christine! Isn't it hideous??? The most incredibly horrible sensation. Even sounds from the sides and behind me, like traffic, sound sort of muted and wavey. It makes me feel completely off centre. I had an MRI in May which showed nothing so the ATN diagnosis was a process of elimination. I'm on Tegretol as well.
I'm really sorry to hear you have MS, that really sucks. We never just get one damn thing, huh? I'm a Chronic Insomniac as well as this rotten thing. Thanks for replying, I'll wait to see if we're the only freaks!
