Why is no-one ever around when you feel terrible?
(((( hugs ))))
Here. Let me make you some cyber cocoa. Its all hot and sweet. Sit right here and I will sit and talk with you.
I am so sorry no body is around. Its hard to be alone with this thing.
I usually try to get busy with something like baking some cookies, just to have something to do. I like to bake things
people like to eat.
My Sun. was so bad, I was ready to run away from this, but ya can't do it. Not fair at all.
Is there any med you can take to ease things up?
I was thinking the other day that I just might get a keyboard to play. Something to do with my hands. If it isn't perfect no one will be around to hear it anyhow. Do you have any hobbies?
Thanks for the support guys, it is just so difficult just now. Redbird my hobbies were all related to exercising, walking, swimming etc, but due to nerve pain in legs unable to do these things anymore. I cannot even stand at cooker to cook a meal without having to sit down every 5 minutes. Between the pain, nausea and dizziness caused by the shocks in my legs along with the TN I am beginning to get very down. The warm weather is here and it is making all my symptoms worse. I have put on so much weight which is not helping with eveything else. Sorry for moaning I know there are worse off people out there than myself and I am blessed with a really great hubby who would do anything to make feel better( for example I am getting a new car today which he has bought me) and feel really selfish about how I am feeling so sorry for myself. I really do appreciate all your help.
Thanks.
Sometimes there is just this question. No answer. Giving voice to it is something though. I hear you.
Sorry you are having one of those days.
Sending you a gentle healing hug and I hope tomorrow is better.
Trish
What kind of leg pain do you have ? Neuropathy? Sciatica?
I don't have leg issues - but started this year dumping everything in crockpot.
We are ALLLLL entitled to our pity parties here!!!
Oh man, this jumped out at me! I ran almost every day before TN. I walk now with knee braces. Lying and sitting impinges the nerves in the lower back. Surgery for me 10 yrs ago on L4/5. Legs wake me up at night burning and aching. The face pain medicine helps back pain. I sometimes don’t know whether to shit or go blind. Unfortunately the TN can be all consuming. Ice the back. Take hot baths with Epsom salts. Lie on the floor and do stretches to open the spine. Goggle exercises for back pain. And above all be kind to yourself. You did not choose this for yourself. My husband is also my angel. When I break down he forces me to get up and fight! The angels here will get the gloves for you and help put them on so you can do it.
Thanks Guys,
Sometimes I just have to get it all out and knowing everyone here understands and is rooting for you sure helps. K.c I have neuropathic pain caused by spinal stenosis, waiting on spinal MRI and review by neurosugeon. It just all seems to take so long here to get anything done. One blessing is we don't have to pay or have insurance. I just wish they would hurry up and get on with it. The face pain meds dul it slightly but not enough. They are not very good at giving meds here that they think might be addictive, so I am taking 1000mg tegretol and 120mg Duloxetine with Paracetamol for breakthrough.
Thanks again everyone for the support and advice.
