This is the disabled and sick person unemployment allowance of which I applied for. I told them my condition and it was on their system, I had the acceptance letter last week, but that was until the medical - I am still waiting for that. I no longer have to go to the job center every fortnight, takes some of the stress out of things.
I have been having issues with memory, focus, and exhaustion. I am now on 800mgs a day. I dunno if that is a good idea, couldn't that make things worse?
800 mg of what? Reason I'm asking is I am on gabapentin and the doctor is switching me to Lyrica starting this evening.

Sorry. I haven't tried Tegretol. I am sorry but I can't help you with that.
Tegretol made me feel like a zombie. If you reduce down, yes, your pain could jump back. but it will reduce side effects. 800 mg is not that much though. I was up to 1200 a day before I told them to take me off the stuff and find something else with less side effects.
I know it is pretty low, but I am just walking with my boyfriend and becoming dizzy or I can be sitting doing nothing and whomph there it is! My memory is a shocker (I could have sworn I wrote more than is up there.) My doctor told me to reduce down to where the side effects didn't exist, but the problem was that I began to have bleed through pain. I am at the end of what to do.
Perhaps I should experiment with when I take the medication, and split the doses a bit more. I dunno.
