Email Notification When New Members Join

Hi Everyone!

Some moderators had been asking how we can make sure that we receive email notifications when new members join.

To make sure that we receive one, visit the "Moderation" section on the Email Settings of your account and follow these steps on your profile page:

(1) Under your account (at the upper right side of your screen), click "Settings"

(2) Under the "My Settings" section (found at the upper left side of your screen), click "Email"

(3) Scroll down to "Moderation" section and make sure that you check the box that says

" Email me when I have ..."New Members to Approve"

Ben,
I don't have those options under the Moderator's section of my email settings. This is the only one I have:

"Moderation
Email me when I have...

New comments to approve"


Am I missing some permissions? I'd really like to fix this because if I can get email notifications for pending members, it would help the work load of the other moderators. Just to clarify, I do get an email when a new member joins; I just can't find the option to get emails for pending members.
