I would recommend him a billion times. He performed my MVD. His staff is wonderful and he took so much time with me explaining everything and then visiting with me post op every day not just for a few minutes but for several minutes. He did an amazing job with my MVD. He has been doing them for over 15 years and does several a week. I met with several surgeons and he is the only one that actually spoke to me like a patient in pain that he wanted to help, not just another case. He shaved minimal amount of hair and his sutures are beautiful. He also has special techniques to minimize "ear fullness" and to make sure you don't loose your hearing during the surgery. I don't know if he is the only doc that does that, but he was the only one that told me about it to ease my fear of loosing my hearing. He also does not use a plate to seal the hole so I won't "ding" in metal detectors. He uses a medical cement so that it will be smoother and not "ding."
He kept my family up to date during and after the surgery about everything and even drew diagrams to help explain to them what was going on and what he found.
His staff is all wonderful and patient. His nurses always call back within 30 minutes and are knowledgeable and kind.
He is an extremely capable surgeon as well as being very personable and caring. If/when I have to have MVD again, I will be using him! I fell like I just can't say enough good about him!
