i had deep cleaning with a cavitron tool april 4th of this year . i have had constant aching buring stabbing shooting pain in all my teeth since then . it starts after i drink and eat something so i will go all day without anything so pain wont start. had mri and said i have trigeminal neurlagia. i have tried tegretol and nuerontin with no relief. i take one norco about 4 to make it through the day. my neurologist brushed me off so im looking for a new dr. has anyone experienced this??? im desperate to find something to ease this pain. ive lost 9 pounds and stay exhuasted all the time. i used to run marathons and that is out for me it has changed my life drastically. any advice? and its time for me to go get my teeth cleaned and im scared to death....
Hello Gigi, I had similar symptoms when started a full-mouth implant restoration. A TN type of pain that was driving me crazy. As far as I know TN does not happen out of the blue. I had the TN pain symptoms too but when I change dentist and I demanded to have the two implants where I felt the pain originating before speeding allover, the I felt the TN pain going away immediately after the implant removal. All it takes is one of the little nerve branches of 3 main TN branches to be affected and the pain will travel through the TN nerve circuit.

did you try gargles with warm water and salt(lots of it)?
Dentures got me in worse trouble, of course not everyone reacts the same way.....
Lol. I have tried this along with sensodine oragel fluoride mouthwashes prescription tooth paste Advil and aleve . The one thing that helped it for 5 days was a medrol dose pack. It was amazing but after it was gone the pain came right back. And they say they CSNT keep giving me steroids. I’m just at a loss
Yes my oral surgeon said pulling my teeth would do no good I’d still have pain and NO teeth
