Compounding Creams

Hello. I hope life is treating you as kind as possible.

I’ve tried various medications. Recently my doctor prescribed Lyrica, but even after appeals my insurance company will no approve it. Simply they won’t cover it because TN is not as listed condition approved for use of Lyrica by The FDA. I even included a study showing the effectiveness in the treatment of TN. No go.

For those of you with compounding creams can you tell me the medications in the cream and the percentages? I really want to try it.

Thank you and wishing you all pain free days.

Hi kismet, sorry to hear about your struggles with the I surance company!
I use EMLA Cream (lidocaine 2.5% and prilocaine 2.5%) , I’m in Canada and can buy this over the counter.
