My dr has suggested I visit Cleveland or Mayo Clinic for my Atypical TN. I have had MVD which was unsuccessful. I am now beginning to take so much medication and still in pain that my life is not enjoyable most of the time. My question is has anyone had any experience with either clinic? I am located in Southeastern KY so the closer the better but the best clinic will be my choice.

It was the easy button
I did not have to meet him for consultation , then go back for MVD
He sends you pain scales…you fill them out, answer other questions all via email.
Im not sure if cleveland makes it that easy
He does second MVDs all the time for ATN

Have you got lidocaine face patches. RX.?
The MVD I had on my right side did stop the shocks, but not the ATN pain. I had a peripheral nerve stimulator implanted on that side, and no longer take any meds. This may be an option for you. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
