I have finally found Drs or rather Dr and PA that really know whats going on. And they are easy to talk to also. They are my Pain Mgmt guys but the PA was a nurse on the neuro service and has assisted on MVDs. Also turns out that the CT that was done back in April in ER also showed TIAs. The PA was not a happy camper. Said I should have had a MRI before I left ER. Will be getting MRI and then a refferal (sp) to neuro in Evansville. I'm up to 600mg of tegretol and they added amitriptyline also. Hopefully i'll be able to sleep sometime in the near future. I knew we had good Drs here somewhere and I guess I'm lucky to find them as quickly as I did after reading all your stories. I still have pain, but I feel so much better knowing that these guys don't think I'm nuts. Anyone else had TIAs that kicked off TN?
