Has anyone been on amitriptyline and had surgery? I just started taking this for my TN and now I find out I need gallbadder surgery. The drug warnings say you have to go off it before major surgery. Has anyone had any experience with this? How will surgery affect my TN?

I’ve had ankle & knee repair, 2 carpal tunnel surgeries, uterine ablation, and Peripherial Nerve Stimulator Implant while on Amitriptyln (I have been taking it for another condition for 15 years) have not had to go off it during any of these surgeries).
