Allergy to titanium plate...chronic fatique

Hi Everyone,

I am being tested for chronic fatigue syndrome. Ever since I had my MVD I have suffered from fatigue, weakness and aching. It just hit me that I may be allergic to the titanium plate in my skull from my MVD. On the opposite side of my head I have suffered shingles recently. I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck in that area and still have somewhat of a rash. I think all of this is connected. Have any of you heard of this? I need answers to this sick fatigue and if I were allergic at least I'd have an answer, but then I would be looking at surgery again. What do they do if there is no titanium plate covering the hole in the skull? Would it be like having brain surgery all over again to remove it?

Thank you for any wisdom on this.

Jamie

Hi Jamie

I know you posted a long time ago but I wanted to reach out. Did you get diagnosed with CFS or Epstein Barr? I have TN, CFS/EB along with Parvo virus and HHV6. I had chronic sinusitis but had surgery a few weeks ago for it. I'm trying to start a petition to the CDC and WHO to get more funding to these illnesses. My boyfriend has read studies linking TN and CFS. Would you be open to talking or signing a petition?

I hope you have recovered well and that the issues you had in 2011 after the surgery went away.

All the best

Brandi
