*i have an allergy to Polyethylene Glycol . It’s used in some steroids like Solu-medrol . On several occasions. I have had a worse reaction to the steroids injected than the issue we were treating . . I knew I was allergic to PEG ( polyethylene glycol ) and finally determined that was the issue . I am reacting to the PEG used in some steroids with edema, redness and increased pain .*I end up taking an oral course of steroids to treat the reaction at the injection site. Anyone else have this issue?
