For the past 3 days, an almost full 72 hours, there is not a twinge of any kind of TN pain whatsoever. First the electrical jolts, then the searing burning pain and a pretty much constant combo of jolts and searing.
As of this past Wednesday early am....nothing! I've never not felt some kind of pain since June 28th when this adventure started. I have tried all the triggers that normally set off an episode and can't find anything. My husband has been on the side of aggrivation with me that I'd even try to find the pain again. I've done the 'wash my face', chew, drink hot, drink cold, brush my teach, talk--alot, yawn, smile to see if I was perhaps dreaming....nothing!
Is this one of those stages where you enter a remission? I know we pray about having TN, we beg God to take the pain away, for others to not have to experience this demon and then when it goes away, even if this is only briefly, you wonder what happened to your constant companion pain.
For now, I feel really blessed and hope for even more days of relief.
Thanks for listening to me ramble like a crazy person. :)
I too have had pain free periods where you wonder if you really just imagined it. But, it always reared its ugly head again. I certainly don't mean to insinuate that your pain will return, (I HOPE AND PRAY THAT IT DOES NOT), Please keep us posted! We wlould all love to hear that you are forever pain-free!
A conclusion to day 4 of pain free! I did a 4 hour wine sampling event today where I have to talk non-stop and not a single twinge of pain. Normally, during my events, I'd pray that no one would come by my table so I wouldn't have to talk with them. Today, it was joyously just the opposite. I started a regimine of Vit. D, B-12 and a heavy dose of overall vit and min. Is there any correlation to lack of pain and supplements that anyone has heard of?
Ha Ha, I wish. When I conduct an event...I can't have so much as a single drop of wine during the sampling. Usually, based upon the comments from my customers, I'll purchase a bottle for myself and take it home. (my own personal sampling session!)
