I called my neurologist to say I had numbness on the left side of my face (where I had the episode of severe pain the week before - diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. He said that it sounded like I had trigeminal sensory neuropathy and would probably have me do an MRI brain scan. Anyone else have this? What is it? Not much info online about it.

Thanks for the info. This is such a strange thing to have. No rhyme nor reason.
