A flat screen is a simple X-ray
Thanks
No way can they do a flat screen of my stomach. So many ups and downs and
ridges and then there is a gurgle like an earthquake and the whole scene
changes again.
Thats why they DO a flat screen. Soft tissues don’t interfere. I know its hard to imagine but MRI and CT are often NOT the gold standard of imaging and frequently MISS whats going on. For example if one is looking for “arthritis,” impacted poop, etc, Thats all they want to see. Not only do MRI and CT cost way more than the condition calls for, subject you to way too much radition, They don’t provide usable data.
Thanks
Sorry I was just being silly about the flat screen.Trying to keep my mood up.
I don’t know what experience you guys have with the Canadian medical system-I can’t just go to a lab and ask for a test to be done-it has to go through my family doctor. He will ask me when the last time I pooped was and then do a squishy test of my tummy and say it is not too hard. and seeing I pooped today I can’t imagine he would order a test. The other thing I can do is go across the border-I just don’t have the energy to drive that far.
Thanks
I will ask
I have learned that an endodontist will be the one to best determine if there is need for a root canal, t that’s their specialty. Good luck!
I am surprised that you did not mention her skin reaction as a possible severe side effect. There is a Boxed Warning on this drug re: Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) and Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis (AGEP), pruritic and erythematous rashes, urticaria, photosensitivity reactions, alterations in skin pigmentation, exfoliative dermatitis, etc, etc.
Also wonder where you found information that fecal impaction causes skin sores…especially of the right side? Would really like to know that reference. I am a retired nurse and firmly believe in lifelong learning. Thanks.
I don’t know about the sores now.Can barely see them through the black fly bites. But the 2 on my knees are still there.Smaller-but there.
