Tn2

in the process of being in a TN2 siege now. Just taking hour by hour to get through it. It is nice to know that there are those who understand what it is like. people who have not experienced this have no clue.

Right here with you. One of the most challenging things for me to deal with is to tell someone you have this, but are still able to talk to them, smile once in awhile, go through life, etc and you can see the doubt in their face (I've even experienced this with doctors). We just continue to deal with the pain whether people understand or not. Hope your pain is better soon.

Thank you. Feeling a lot better now. You are right, gotta keep on keeping on....

Thank you. very kind. hope this finds you feeling well also. I am wearing a headband to keep the cold air from the ac triggering another siege. Maybe I will start a new trend. lol.

I have to isolate myself from those who cause me such stress that triggered such high pain levels for the last three days. I know it is difficult for those around me to understand the intensity and debilitating pain levels of TN2. They think I am being distant, but I have to take actions to protect myself from the cause of another siege/flare.

Does any one else have problems with those around them triggering a pain flare of TN2? Any advice how to handle it?

Thank you,

Julia Miles

I'm with you Julie, I know what its like ♥

Just bare with it, be strong and dont give up. Look ahead for those pain free days to come, they will come and you will feel normal again.

You must try to relax and not get stressed, dont read books or even go on your PC as I found this really dont help. Try and sit still for a while, lay down if you can and sleep.

Best Wishes

Westley

Julie,
My advice is to avoid the people who cause you stress as much as you are able too.
Many a time I did not pick up the phone because I knew the person on the other end can cause me stress… Hard to do, but I knew/know that stress makes things so much worse.

As for the rest, soooo important to explain and educate those closest to you about how you feel and what TN is like, not just the horrid pain, but the meds and the side effects as well as the emotional issues as a result.
They’ll never fully comprehend, because you can’t unless you experience it, but they’ll have a much better understanding.
Communication is huge.
I hope this note finds you feeling a little relief from the intensity…
Mimi xx
