Does anyone here have a very strong suggestion for the right doctor to see regarding a proper procedure? I’m new here and thought I’d ask. Thanks.
Tell us a little bit more about your symptoms, Jonathan. Typically, one begins with a referral to a Neurologist from their General Practitioner. But, let us know more about what is going on in your face.
it usually start with a subtle needle like and morphs into a stab right behind the jaw line area on my right side and comes on alot when I brush my teeth. I have been to a neuro guy and he really didn’t have a whole lot of stuff to offer other than the idea of some sort of surgery. your thoughts.
I’d like for someone to give me an idea of who to contact that is a reputable physician for discussing surgical procedures. I’m in NC, but would be willing to travel at this point. Any ideas?
I’m in Asheville city limits. I’ve been diagnosed and would be looking for having a procedure. I was hoping that there was some good advice here on some credible docs that are performing these procedures with some good success. Your thoughts.
Jonathan, I am in Hendersonville and doing ok with my neuro. Feel free to contact me here and we can exchange info if you want to talk. I was diagnosed about two years ago so more than happy to help. Kristi Boyer

TN is so strange that a procedure may work for me but not you or vice-versa. The best place to start is with you neurologist who diganosed you and ask him for recommendations on surgeons in your area. My MVD was done in Kettering Ohio by Dr. Taha. His bedside manner is horrible but he is one of the best at what he does in my area. He has researched TN for many years and knows all about it. BUT my TN is coming back after 3 years of being pain free....so there is no guarantee on
any of the procedures that are out there.
Good luck in your search and I hope you find someone to help.

When I went to follow up with him he said it was because I ha MS, which is not true. I will never go to him again.
