Does anyone get a sore nostril as part of their TN? Can’t really describe the feeling just a pain in the back of the nostril.
Yes I do. I have shooting pain up the left side of my nose and all kinds of strange sensations in my nostril--from itching to pain.
The nerve does go to this nostrils, and I have had horrible pain on the left side of my nose. My last surgery left is somewhat numb which is helping.
Is your pain normally on your right but your left nostrils are hurting? Mine is on the same side as my pain
Mine is on my TN side.
I do, on the same side as my ATN (left). Its not sore all the time but it does feel different than the right nostril. I also had sinus surgery on both nostrils back in November 2010. It’s definitely a weird and uncomfortable feeling. Have you tried using a netipot? I find it feels good to rinse both nostrils every once in awhile. Feel better~Erica
The water from a neti pot caused a horrible TN attack, and turned my whole face red.
Yes, behind the base of my nostrils and pains shoot inside above my upper teeth gumline, not where you can pinpoint from the outside of my face...I find sometimes a heatpack helps if I rest on it..othertimes not so helpful but worth a try.

Tepid works better. I did the baby bottle heat test first by checking the water on the inside of my wrist.
