What could be wrong then Modsupport? I’ve seen ent he did ct scan camera up the nasal passages and said it sounded like neuralgia and said go see a neuro…basically fobbed me off! I haven’t had any procedures just meds…I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines a few years ago but the symptoms and pain I have is definitely neuralgia that is extremely painful! What do you think could be causing it? I’ve been diagnosed with glossopharyngeal neuralgia aswel.I’m not very knowledgeable but very scared.

I am due to see my GP this week to ask about tiltrating up the pregabalin which I’m sure he will do.
I waited 7 weeks for my first appointment at Eastman so not surprised that this second one will take the same time.
Your comment about doctors being adamant re what you know is not correct made me laugh.To their defence they are GPs and therefore do not know nearly enough about this illness…you probably know more than them!
I saw a doctor at a pain management clinic last week and he should have been in pathology! He was extremely disrespectful and lacking in empathy and told me to take paracetamol! Can you imagine…yes expect you can…anyway my doctor daughter got on the case and has sent him a complaint letter about her dear mums mistreatment.Bless her!
It’s the nose one like you that gets to me and as I said has only appeared in the last three months.So I will be so so interested to hear what Martina says about it.I too have had all the sinus testing and everything is clear.Also if it was acute sinusitis I’d have a fever and it wouldn’t subside as it does some days.I just feel it is all part of the trigeminal nerve pains.Im surprised those meds have not helped you at least a bit…pregabalin and nortripyline are standard meds here for ATN.I had high hopes for nortripyline but I got rapid heart beat and had to stop.
How fantastic you have your five year old to hug and love her mummy…must be hard for you looking after her with school drop and all.
