I am sorry to report that after a week on baclofen I am having the same side-effects that I had with Lyrica. Extreme swelling in feet and legs especially left one. I also am having nodding off spells.
Would like to hear from anyone else with these side-effects. Judith
Yall can probably relate to this: I was ironing the other day(which I rarely do) and I burned the top of my hand really bad. But as bad as the pain was I thought it was a welcomed distraction to my TN pain and meds side-effects.
I had alot of grogginess from Baclofen but didnt fall asleep like you did. Lyrica does that to me. Baclofen did nothing for me for TN pain and only made me groggy. After a month of it, I stopped it. I hope you can find something that helps you.
Oh Judy, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble. The Baclofen was bad juju for me too! It gave me a really nasty headache in the lower back of my head! I had to take a vicadin to get rid of it! Never again.
Keep the faith, there's got to be something out there for you that helps!!
I quit taking baclofen and the swelling went away in my feet and ankles Although the doctor still says it would be extremely rare for the med. to cause it. Also the crazy feeling in head went away. I wish some research team would do a study on TN. I know my pain is associated with my nervous system even something like a loud noise can set it off or even a minor aggrevation. Best to all. J
my neurologist has referred me to Baptist Hospital to talk to them about the laser surgery. I would like input of people who have had this and if it helped. My pain level rose last Friday and and has been terrible. Best to all. Judith
