Should one tell one's workers?

Thank you. Yes I won’t give up. I have tried two types of opiates but they haven’t helped me.

Oh yes I have heard the “it’s in your head” line often.

I also heard many (sometimes well-intentioned) tips what I should do. As a general rule, nothing seems too obscure for some people to tell you to try. I have had one person tell me I need to learn to breathe differently. Others tell you to drink more water (fair enough, but they don’t usually ask “have you tried drinking more water?” [Answer would be: yes] but usually say “you just need to drink more water”. The resulting feeling on my side is then likely similar to what depressed people might experience when they hear “just be happy”.

The sad thing is: I actually would be willing to try just about anything if there would be some convincing evidence that and how it would work. Gosh, I would wash my face with deep sea squid pee if there would be good evidence it can help. [There isn’t!]
