Renee, I did have tn & geniculate neuralgia.The surgery greatly helped my ear pain. I still get some once in awhile but the constant pain is gone. I’d say it’s 90% better. The tinnitus I’ve had for 20 yrs when I was misdiagnosed with Menieres disease. It has improved but isn’t gone and it still flares up and can get loud after I have been in noisy environments. I am almost 1 yr post op and I never want to go through surgery again, BUT I would if I had to. My quality of life greatly improved.
