Hey I was wondering can carbamazepine effect your periods cz im not pregnant but havent had one for 2mouths now??? If someone can help that would be great

I tried carbamazepine last year for a few months & couldn’t tolerate a dosage High enough to help my pain, but YES, it totally screwed up my period. I’m on the pill to keep me from getting awful periods, and it was useless for those few months… My period was totally erratic.
Call the pharmacist for advice!!!
I assumed being 50 it was just going away but yes they were sporadic and now gone and I am on Carbamazepine.
My periods are the same. They come on time every month.
