When I google my name with the city I live in all my post from here come up? How can I change that? I even changed my name from my whole name on here to just Jennifer m and put in a different zip code. Anybody know ?? Thanx
I'm not an expert on this subject matter, but what I do know is this: Just because you changed your name here recently to only include your last initial, Google and other search providers basically keep history around for a while. I'm not sure how long the history is generally available, but I'm told that after some period of time the search results should stop showing data that's been removed and/or altered. That being said, I know that I have searched for things before that appear to have been removed but I'm still able to see those things by indicating I want to view cached data. How long that cached data is available is beyond me.
In addition to being concerned about your name being posted, you should also think about whether you want to have your photo here -- particularly one that's used on another website. A Google image search currently takes me to another website where you have used the same photo, so you should probably think about either using a photo here that you ONLY use here or simply not using a photo with your profile here at all.
