Possible Helpful Treatment For Burning Tongue and Gum Pain

see this is it,im kind of getting myself hyped up that this will be it,and i'll be mended, and that this pain will go. The mri result stated sclerosing osteitis, but was later dismissed by a dental consultant at the teaching hopsital,he said that osteitis only occurs days after an extraction, but the doc at pain clinic was told the above, and that the above was infection and inflammation of the jaw,so something has completly gone amiss and the results misinterpreted, hopefully not at a permanent cost to me. I had visions of mouth cancer,i went through a bad time,as most of us here have. soooooo not long before i see the new doc,and hope and pray i get proper answers.

Good luck but don't expect any miracle to happen on your first visit. the injury can not be reversed overnight. let us know what you find out...

hi cleo. The pain i get now is more tolerable, but is always there. But today i had new sensations in the teeth, just in a split second i had what felt like a needle going into my gum/tooth,and then my teeth went icy and sensitive.I have the icy feeling alot anyway, but this was 'different',they were really really senstive. The pain doc said there is something on the mri,but she told me the above, but it was later squashed,i dont know what they saw,or if she interpreted something the doc said wrongly. If i had/have infection of jaw im sure it wouldnt go away on its own. Maybe its a complex case and no one knows what it really is........
