If there isn't one maybe we should start one. I am curious as to how many of you suffering with GPN think their symptoms started after a dental procedure. Mine started within a few day of a dental extraction. I am a definate YES!!
I had two caps prior to the onset. Can't say they are related events.
I'm not sure if mine was related to dental as it went undiagnosed for 3 years. I'll have to check with my dentist to see if I had any major work done around that time.
I'm heading to the dentist tomorrow for a procedure and am very concerned with it causing it to flare up more. Don't have a choice though as I'm having pain in my teeth!
My mother's pain did not have any connection to dental work.
I had an extraction as well and that was the beginning of my pain. I am still not clear on the diagnosis because they are calling it Eagle's Syndrome but...?????
No, definitely not as I have never had any dental work done. No fillings, nothing! So for me it can not be related...
No, I didn't have any dental work done, nor have I had any dental work since my first incident with gpn 3 years ago.
My GPN started after a bad case of influenza. I'm convinced that this is the cause. No dental work though...
My GPN did not begin with dental work.
I had a nightguard made just prior to full onset. Not much, but....
I have had several dental procedures, however my neuralgia seems to be at least somewhat tied to my chronic Migraines. I didn’t notice any kind of a correlation with any of my procedures… At least not that I can tell. It does make me a bit nervous about having future treatment though…
