Its been 12 weeks since surgery no pain I just took my last dilantin pill last night and am weaning off the Gabapentin now I am at 2400mg a day still will soon be cutting down to 1600mg a day. I still have this feeling like I have a band of pressure in the back of my head and the incision is still numb but those are minor things compared to pain thank you everyone for your support and Help.
My MVD was somewhat complicated so it lasted almost 5 hrs. You will be so incapacitated it wont make a diference...I would tell your family it can take anywhere from 4 to 5 hrs. This gives some wiggle room, Good luck !
