Hi everyone. I am new to this whole TN2 monster but I did start with a migraine. I have had them for many years but they were well controlled. When I couldn’t get this one to stop I began to notice that my scalp became so tender I could not stand to touch it. It then moved down onto my forehead and now around my eye just on the right side. Fiorinal is the only thing that helps my migraine and now that isn’t working. So I am having constant, unrelenting headache with the burning, searing pain in my scalp, forehead and eye area. I saw a neurologist who has started me on 900 mg of gabapentin but so far that has done nothing. I am ready to scream. I had my MRI yesterday and that was pure agony. I go back to see my neurologist on Tuesday. I sure hope he has some other suggestions. I really like him and I was lucky to find someone who is well versed in TN and diagnosed me immediately.
