Im almost 64. Developed TN, for real 12/14, right after a flight. Even A/C return caused excruciating shock/s. Pains mostly around right eye and forehead.

Started with neurontin at 400mg. Went up to 600 mg and then switched to Lyrica but played with liver enzimes so went back to Neurentin, now at 1000mg and covers over 90% of the random pain. Still have pain a bit when eating and yawning. Often have pain when blinking.

Ive been reading alot and what i havent found is others with pain to the touch. I have EXTREME pain to the touch right in the right corner of my eye which radiates such that its painful to shave so i dont. Also a point on the right side of my forehead so its hard to put on a hat which is a must to protect Against wind. Also wear very large sunglasses over my glasses combined with hat.

Does anyone share the problem of pain to the touch?

Sometimes I have pain to the touch as well…it really depends on the day and the episode.sometimes the pain feels like the area is bruised others it’s just like someone has a blow torche to the area. For me my symptoms and triggers are very unpredictable

Yes. I do. When I put a shirt on, it hurts. I was on neurotin for years. I'm on lyrica but it isn't helping anymore. I've been on so many different meds it's hard to tell. I either shock or burn. I hope you feel better soon.
