If your taking lyrics how many milligrams are you on? I hate it it makes me feel high forgetful exhausted etc I can’t take it. I’ve tried all other meds. I’m still in pain and on top of it makes me feel like crap

The record of Lyrica in facial pain seems to be somewhat mixed, with a lot of patients voicing concern over side effects. Pfizer has promoted the drug off-label for a wide variety of pain conditions. If your neurologist offers other options, you might want to consider them. Trileptal and Neurontin both have fewer side effects. Tegretol also helps a lot of people. And some do well on the TCA drugs like Amitriptyline, particularly if you're dealing with Type 2 TN (Atypical).

I started with tegretol never again, spaced out,memory loss,forgetful, wobbly banging into things, spots,sore boobs! Now on gabapentin,not as bad but when increasing dosage spaced out a bit and can’t drive and forgetful like I had several glasses of wine but that only when upping dosage till body gets used to it.
