Life's a headache!

Hi everyone. I'm just curious as to whether or not those of you with ATN ever get short, sharp headaches. I'm talking often only a few minutes in duration. It just seems that yhe number my face is the more chance of getting one.

I would talk to your dr about it too!

Thanks for the reply KC. At least I know that it's nothing sinister, I just had a brain MRI. I figure it's something to do with the nerves compressing.

Yes I often did have them during an attack and now it's in remission the headaches too have gone.

I experience every type of TN pain imaginable, the type 2 crushing constant 24-7 pain at front of forehead, around eye and all along top and bottom row of teeth.

This can turn into a contact dull ache, also will experience the short sharp electric shocks across face upto head, also across cheeks and along teeth.

Yes! I also get short sharp headaches that can last for seconds, minutes or hours, sometimes I can feel the pain moving.

Stress and lack of sleep can bring on extra pain I have found.

Thanks guys for your replys! So nice to know I'm not just an odd ball. Well, not with the headaches at least.
