Day 7 following MVD procedure. At least the scar is very neat and will soon be covered by my hair!!!

Hi Mandy - so good to hear you're progressing well. Scar certainly does look neat. Hope you continue to improve every day.
I'm feeling better than I did and see the consultant on the 21st. Had my medication changed, so I'm now on Oxcarbazepine which has helped the pain but I seem to need a different dose each day which is weird. Sometimes the nerve seems a lot more irritated than other times. Side effects seem to be settling a bit more now although still feel 'spaced out'. I'm kind of hoping that I might be able to go back to work after I see the consultant (although it will be one heck of a challenge!)
