11days ago I was discharged from the hospital.I was told I had an extra blood vessel on my left side of brain, dont know exactly where its located, but im assuming its by my optical nerve.since ive been told this is why my left eye pupil was so big.Put on eye drops 4times a day,eye is getting better.I was put on gabapentin100mg 3times a day, also im put on keppra 500mg at twice a day for seizures. My guestion is since im home, ive been getting severe headaches and been very shaky. Now I took notice my apppetie is zero, never hungry.I have no idea what pill is doing this to me,im very concern about my weight. But one thing is good,my pain level went to a 3-4.So any advicce will be appreciated.Waiting for the Neurologist to call back

Sorry Barb that you feel all of this, do you think you had to titrate the Gabapentin too quickly ? It is a low dose but you may have a low tolerance. I have had to increase my Gabapentin this week and I have had the shakes and feel most peculiar. I feel for you, it’s not a good feeling.
Anyone looking in, Kc’s advice about asking the pharmacist is great advice, unless they are over busy most will fall over backwards to help you. And most folk love to help people.
i didnt have shakes like this when i was in the hsopital.my whole body and head shakes,i feel like im going to loose it.My husband wants me of of the medication, but it does help the pain.Still waiting on more test results to come back about the blood clotting disorder.I wish already what is wrong with me,27years,is way to long.I wear compression stocking for my circulation,it helps, but i want answers.Sorry for venting,so sick of the runaround. Thanks Jackie

It might be from the gabapentin, some individuals are senesitive more than others. It could be a simple side effect that will taper away with time. Lastly it could be something else. I would call and make an appoinemt with your general doctor. Also, another thing to consider and not to say you are, but depression can cause loss of appetite, and the same with high levels of stress. Low blood sugars can be caused be lack of appetite or poor eating, which in turn can make you shaky. I would not stop all medications as this can cause some serious side effects without the guideness of a doctor. Sorry I dont have a real answer, but hope feel better soon.
Thank you all.Its the seizure medication thats doing it to me,when I take it the pains start in my head and I shake like crazy.I dont take them at the same time,I think the dosage is to high for my body.Oh,im not depressed at all,im usually a happy go lucky person, its just i have alot of medical problems going on,not just TN.The doctor did say im a mystery case.LOL
