Good Neuro

Looking for good neuro around Orange area. I am not satisfied with mine and he does not listen.

Thanks

I too had one that wouldnt listen so I changed to Dr. Bruce Cleeremans in Irvine, 15825 Laguna Cyn Rd, #202, phone 949.753.1882. He seems pretty good although I havent had to see him much since by Gabapentin and Upper Cervical Chiro seem to be keeping the little beast away. Good luck

I had the opposite reaction to Cleermans. I posted negative reviews on every site there is. I on the other hand ended up with Dr. Young for my Neuro, Dr. Duma did 2 Gamma Knife and 1 MVD (yes, I am happy with him, the staff, and I LOVE Hoag Neuro Center!!!) and Dr. Peck handled my Aneurysm repairs. I have spent a lot of time over at Hoag Neuro Center, and I have recommended it highly. Of course I insist on being part of ever conversation, My Brain, My Fight!!! Since all the repairs, and we have kept going, I still have to take meds, but I am able to work, and recently was able to even fly in a fighter jet. Hang in there and fight for the best care you can get.

Sounds like you had the same problem with Cleermans that I had with Van Houten. Dr Cleermans called me at 8:30 in the morning to discuss meds the other day which is more than Van Houten ever did. However, as I said I'm doing pretty well with Upper Cervical Chiro. I'm going to see Dr Roger Smith in Fountain Valley as my Upper Cervical guy is on vacation. Hope you continue to be able to work!!

Sorry this reply is late, if you’re still looking Dr. Mark Linskey @ UCI in Orange is highly praised by my OCTNA support group: (714)■■■■■■■■. You may need a referral by a doctor. I go to Dr. Makki @ HOAG neurosciences center after Dr. Duma’s Gamma Knife screwed up my face. Backfired, I now have Trigeminal neuropathy as well as the old TN pain. I’ve been told MVD is better to have first since Gamma Knife well let’s just say this-fails.

Hi

I would strongly personally recommend Dr Levesque in Beverly Hills...my surgery was a huge relief in spite of a very slow healing process and some moderate vestibular issues. In my case, he alleviated my pain, now I can manage the side effects of the surgery much better. He is a master at MVD and compassionate!
