My surgery is being scheduled in November for late January early February and my family
is asking what I will need to get through this after surgery, and is it true Kaiser Permanente
boots you out a day after surgery?

I'm so excited for you that you're going to get to have surgery! I understand that most people only stay in the hospital for a day and then recover in a hotel for another couple of days before heading home. It sounds horrific to me, but it seems like pretty standard practice, so it can't be too bad.
I would love it if you could write about your experience as things progress. I hope to have surgery, too, so it'd be good to read as much as I can on it.
